Zack is a financial advisor who is driven by two great passions in his life - aviation and finances. With aviation running in his family, Zack has had a deep understanding of the industry from a young age. His father was a commercial pilot for US Airways and has been in the industry for over 50 years. His wife, Jessica, also works for a major airline, and prior to his career as a financial advisor, Zack spent 10 years in the aviation industry working in upper management.
Growing up in the aviation industry, Zack understands the complexities, uniqueness, and the passion that runs in the blood of those individuals who make this wonderful industry their life’s work. Unfortunately, he has also experienced firsthand how difficult the industry can be. After the tragedy of 9/11, his father had his retirement taken away from him at the age of 54, and seeing a hardworking, successful man start over when he was so close to retirement had a lasting impact on Zack's life. This is the reason why Newsome & Ross Financial was founded, to help families avoid a similar situation, and why Zack is so passionate about the work that he does and the clients that he serves.
Aside from his work, Zack has a love for athletics, specifically baseball. He played baseball and was a pitcher at Penn State until he hurt his elbow, which ended his career. Zack and his wife Jessica have two wonderful children, Ethan and Evelyn, and they enjoy spending their free time hiking, traveling, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
